Riding in the snow

by admin on January 13, 2010

Many bikers across the UK have been forced to take public transport after snow and ice took over the nation. Helmets have been swapped for beanie hats and bikes have been put in the garage under cover.

Despite roads being gritted motorcyclists are not taking risks and bike insurance companies are advising them not to venture out onto the cold and icy roads in case of fatal accidents and obviously no body wants to risk their lives or an increase in their insurance policy.

So if you are thinking of getting the bike out, DON’T!!!!

Wouldn’t dream of it ;o) Mind you, if you have any spare fairings in your garage, this is the time of year to get them onto eBay! People are starting to venture out, things are a little cold and they will be a little excited.

No I have to I can’t do without it. I understand the risks involved but biking is my life. I’m in the midst of putting extra heavy treads on a custom bike I’m building should be snow proof
